Bird

This bird has been half done for months. Oops. I'm recently drawn toward using more detail in the little things (in this case, the flowers). Aesthetically, it matches the other work in my shop. Mission accomplished. This one is 7x6.5. The original is larger by an inch or two.

In other news, we watched The Flowering of Human Consciousness last night. Wow. 

Authenticity

Recently, I have spent a lot of my time ruminating upon being authentic. For my own sake and the sake of everyone I come in contact with.

While I was at it, I decided to pitch the guilt and anything else that didn’t open my heart.

Things are better than ever.

Oh and I made cookies. I will come back later and share the recipe. They are so good we had to hide them from the kids or they’d be all gone.

I will also have some photos of my new studio. I currently only have pictures of the cookies, which aren't as interesting.
