Hey There

I am very behind on music trends. Sadly, most of what I have been listening to over the past several years is either the Wiggles or Dan Zanes. Yeah.
I don't even have an iPod or other similar device. I actually still listen to CD's. Even on my treadmill.
I suddenly feel old... LOL. At 31.
I could have said "cassette tapes" and you would have been "How quaint".
Really, I should make it a priority to get an iPod and I will now that I have mentioned it to everyone and you are all pointing and laughing.
I overheard this song earlier and decided to Google it and I have listen to it no less than ten times already. I love it. It's simple and beautiful and it makes me cry every single time I hear it.

Still Alive and Clearly Not Blogging Enough

I was speaking to a friend the other day and she was telling me how she maintains twelve (!!!!) blogs. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, I asked her how she does it. She explained it was necessary for her business (all twelve blogs). Nothing like a motivated, dedicated person to make me realize I need to step up and get blogging. I think I can handle one blog if she can manage a dozen.
I was asked to do a special oval tree and bird to hang in a nursery (above). It's called "Pink Tree and Bird" and the original is acrylic and ink and graphite on illustration board. The customer had me blow it up to 16x20 and she plans to hang it in this frame from Ikea:

The frame will be painted white. I love it! I have more ovals on the way (to shake things up a bit).
